Privacy Policy

TL;DR — we collect only the data needed to run our games, keep them stable and improve them. We never collect passwords or payment card details. Most of the data we process is pseudonymous (technical identifiers rather than your real name) and is handled by trusted third-party services. Where the law requires it, analytics identifiers and personalized ads are used only with your consent.

1. Data Controller

The data controller is F4ntomGames Damian Kupper ("we," "us," "our company"). For privacy-related inquiries, contact us at support@f4ntomgames.dev.

2. Data Collected

Our games (mobile and PC) collect the following data required for gameplay, authentication, and analytics:

  • Information on how the game is used (e.g., playtime, progress, interactions),
  • Device and advertising identifiers, IP address, device model and operating system provided by the SDKs,
  • Data on game performance and errors,
  • Identifiers processed by authentication services (e.g., Google Play Games player ID, Unity Authentication ID),
  • Player-chosen in-game nickname,
  • Player-created maps and associated metadata.

Your nickname and the maps you publish are visible to other players. We do not collect passwords, direct login credentials or payment card details; payments are handled solely by the platform provider.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing

We process data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases under the GDPR:

  • Enabling authentication, account access and core game functions, including nickname storage and player-created content — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),
  • Monitoring application stability, performance and security — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR),
  • Statistical analysis to improve game quality and functionality — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where the law requires consent for accessing device identifiers, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR),
  • Displaying personalized ads — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time through the consent options available in the game, where provided, or in your device's advertising settings,
  • Handling your requests and defending against legal claims — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

4. Third-Party Services and Recipients

Our games use the following third-party services, which receive data as described in their respective privacy policies and may act as independent controllers or as our processors depending on the service:

5. Data Storage, Retention and International Transfers

We do not operate our own servers for player data. Account-related data, nicknames and player-created maps are stored in Unity Cloud services. Analytics and advertising data are stored by the respective third-party providers.

Account data, nicknames and player-created maps are retained until you delete your account. Data held by analytics and advertising providers is retained according to their own retention policies.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in countries without an EU adequacy decision. Where required, such transfers rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as applied by the respective provider.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

Our games may use cookies or other local storage methods to save game settings, player progress and technical identifiers required for the game and its third-party services to function. Identifiers used for analytics or advertising are used in accordance with Sections 3 and 4.

7. Children

Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Where processing is based on consent, users under 16 may give it only with the authorization of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. User Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your data and receive a copy of it,
  • Request correction of inaccurate data,
  • Request erasure of your data,
  • Restrict or object to data processing,
  • Receive your data in a portable format, where applicable,
  • Withdraw your consent at any time,
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), or the authority in your country of residence.

You can delete your account directly within the game. If you use Unity Authentication, you can also delete your Unity account at player-account.unity.com/delete-account. Because we do not store personally identifiable information outside authentication services and Unity Cloud, we may need to ask you to identify your account before acting on a request.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@f4ntomgames.dev. Data held independently by third-party providers, such as analytics and advertising services, may also need to be managed with those providers.

9. Security

We rely on the security measures of the third-party services described above and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we handle.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page together with its "last updated" date. We will notify you of material changes through the game or our website before they take effect.
